The owner and manager of The Painter is Nicholas Tidwell. Before he was old enough to work, Tidwell volunteered on a residential project where a landscape contractor allowed him to carry supplies to the workers. At the end of the job, the contractor was so impressed, he promised Tidwell a job for the next summer when he was age eligible. From that time on, Tidwell worked in one area of construction after another while finishing high school and as he started college. He quickly moved himself up the ladder from a laborer to a professional painter and then decided to start his own company in 2005.

While the majority of the company's work is performed by Tidwell, a reliable of individuals with the same level of commitment to quality often assists on larger projects. Without a doubt, Tidwell has acquired all of the trade and ancillary skills that are necessary to successfully complete a professional painting project and manages the business with the same high level of perfection. In addition to providing these services, Tidwell unselfishly offers a basic do-it-yourself guide for those who are interested, emphasizing caution and safety.

The Painter has day, night and weekend crews available for projects big or small. Our crews are perfectionists and strive for excellence with each individual project.  We specialize in several interior and exterior residential applications, faux and decorative finishes, and glazes of all kinds. We also provide several floor finishes such as ceramic tile and refinished wood floors, small construction services, bathroom and kitchen remodeling, drywall repair, and water proofing services for driveways, walkways, chimneys, and basements.  The Painter has done work for homeowners, property managers, realty companies, schools, warehouses, retail stores, churches, and other residential and commercial projects.
